AD5679 is a low power, 16-channel, 16-bit, buffered voltage output, digital-to-analog converter (DAC). This device contain a power-down mode that reduces the current consumption to 2μA typical. It is widely used in application such as optical transceivers, base station power amplifiers, process control (programmable logic controller (PLC) input/output cards), industrial automation, data acquisition systems etc.
- Reset value is midscale, 50MHz serial peripheral interface (SPI) with readback or daisy chain
- Relative accuracy (INL) is ±1.7LSB typ at (gain = 2)
- Differential nonlinearity (DNL) is ±0.5LSB typ at (gain = 2)
- Total unadjusted error (TUE) is ±0.03% of FSR typ at (gain = 1)
- Offset error is −0.1mV typ at (gain = 2), gain error is −0.02% of FSR typ at (gain = 2)
- Voltage reference temperature coefficient is 2ppm/°C typ
- Short-circuit current is 40mA typ, power supply range is 2.7V to 5.5V
- User selectable gain of 1 or 2 (GAIN pin), 1.8V logic compatibility
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +125°C
- Packaging style is 28-lead LFCSP
