AD780 is an ultrahigh precision band gap voltage reference. The low initial error and temperature drift is combined with low output noise and it has an ability to drive any value of capacitance to make the reference voltage ideal choice for enhancing performance of high resolution analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs) and digital-to-analogue converters (DACs), and for any general-purpose precision reference application. It can be used to source or sink upto 10mA, and can be used in series or shunt mode, thus allowing positive or negative output voltages without external components.
- Pin programmable 2.5V or 3.0V output
- High accuracy is 2.5V or 3.0V ±1mV max
- Series or shunt mode operation (±2.5 V, ±3.0 V)
- Low noise is 100nV/√Hz
- Noise reduction capability
- Low quiescent current is 1mA max
- Output trim capability
- Plug-in upgrade for present references, temperature output pin
- Initial error is ±5.0mV, temperature coefficient is 7ppm/°C
- Operating temperature is −40°C to +85°C, packaging style is 8-lead PDIP
